Fund to Save Shamanic Knowledge

Living Treasures Project: Supports exceptional indigenous shamans whose knowledge is in danger of being lost, with an annual lifetime stipend. Indigenous Assistance Project: When invited, assists indigenous peoples, such as the Baniwa of the Northwest Amazon, in recovering and/or revitalizing their shamanic knowledge and practices; tuition rebates to Native Americans. World Archives Preservation Project: Documentation and recording of irreplaceable shamanic knowledge and practices.

Fund to Study Shamanic Knowledge

Library Accessibility Project: Make the Shamanic Knowledge Conservatory library of over 6000 books available to the public and scholars, acquiring additional space and a librarian to supervise visitors and reorganize and manage the collection. Research & Publication Project: Research, directed by Michael Harner, for publication to increase understanding and knowledge of shamanism worldwide and to create and update Foundation training programs. Research includes rediscovering and testing lost shamanic knowledge. MONOR Project: The Mapping of Nonordinary Reality (MONOR) Project collects and analyzes cross-cultural data comparing shamanic journey, near-death, and other mystical experiences; expected to challenge Western paradigms of the nature and limits of reality. Archives of over 34,000 pages, unique in the world. Requires the services of a research associate and a curator.

Fund to Teach Shamanic Knowledge

World Education Project: Return the power and effectiveness of shamanic practices and knowledge to contemporary society for individual, community, and global healing and problem solving. Maintain and transmit the highest quality of authentic and fundamental shamanic training, derived from careful cross-cultural research and experimentation, the gold standard upon which people everywhere can rely. Educational Training Project: Expand the number of highly-qualified, shamanically experienced faculty worldwide; ongoing development of high-quality authentic workshops and training programs; assistance to faculty trainees. Research and Development Project: Response and outreach to universities and complementary and alternative medicine centers to make Foundation trainings available to their students and alumni.
